What a day! Our fall open day was absolutely the best one yet, and we are still buzzing about it!
Hundreds of prospective students and their families poured onto campus for a jam-packed schedule of tours, talks and hands-on activities. The energy was electric from the very first minute!
The touch tanks were a massive hit as always — nothing beats the look on a future marine biologist's face when they hold a sea star for the first time! The R/V Cascadia Strait tours sold out within minutes, and the robotics demonstrations in the new test basin had crowds three deep all afternoon.
Our incredible faculty were on hand all day to answer questions, and we heard again and again how much visitors loved being able to talk directly to the people who will actually be teaching them. That is the Northmoor difference!
"This is hands down my favorite day of the year," said Rosa Delgado, Director of Admissions. "Seeing so many amazing young people discover what they could become here is just the best feeling in the world!"
